La Quinta Sarapiquí Lodge

La Quinta Eco-Lodge is a rustic and welcoming retreat located in the Caribbean lowlands of Costa Rica, just a short drive from key birding hotspots like La Selva Biological Station and Cope’s Gardens. Originally a family-run operations center for a local orange farm, the property has evolved into a conservation-focused eco-lodge and a favorite base for birdwatchers and nature photographers exploring the Sarapiquí region. Set on 20 acres of tropical gardens, reforested land, and riverside forest, La Quinta combines simple comfort with a deep respect for the surrounding environment.

The lodge is certified with 5 Leaves by Costa Rica’s Certification for Sustainable Tourism (CST)—the highest rating—recognizing its strong commitment to conservation and responsible travel.
